Fest Dobré Bohunice

The last July weekend experienced the Fest Dobré Bohunice music festival in Jaslovské Bohunice. The event was noncommercial, targeted to support awareness of musical genres less known by spectators, and featuring such stars as Honza Nedvěd, Peter Lipa, Kochanski, Fleret with Jarmila Šuláková, and Blue Ground. Those invited included singer and guitarist Erick Macek, of the U.S., biggest star of the festival. Fest Dobré Bohunice brought about a multifaceted offer of programs for younger as well as older age groups. Visitors could also see folk trades, sculptors, and other arts performers. Children contests, animator-led games, paintball competitions and water football offered good entertainment. In addition, nighttime sceneries were featured at the festival, presenting Grass Country, Horký of Kamelot, and Bystrík, known winner of the Coca Cola Popstar competition. The three days of the festival were ended by Alan Mikušek, and Mariachi sin Fronteras. Fest Dobré Bohunice offered opportunities of amusement as well as relaxation. It was designed for young as well as older spectators, for families with children. The event has been building up much goodwill among the audience already looking forward for its next year.
