Karel Gott in Myjava
Maestro Karel Gott held a concert in Trnovce amphitheatre in Myjava on the second August weekend. This was a top-level event in the region, prepared by Myjava City together with the Municipal Administration of Myjava City Assets, s.r.o., and in cooperation with the agency KULL Production. Although the weather was not fully cooperating this weekend, fans coming from various places in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Austria did not mind a bit. All participants were stimulated toward feelings of much delight by the unrepeatable as well as unique repertoire of Karel Gott´s songs. The delightful atmosphere was supplemented by Boom Band of Jiří Dvořák. The concert was sung live, and recorded a momentous success. It was followed with delivery of a symbolic check, donated in € 2,000 value to the voluntary fire brigade and designed to purchase technical security equipment for use during times of flood. At the event, Karel Gott was bestowed with the Myjava City Award. The event was supported by significant media and publicity partners, among them by Trnavská stavebná spoločnosť, a.s.
